In Minneapolis, we define ourselves by who we are and how we treat others, not by what we look like or what’s in our wallets. But today, certain politicians are trying to make us fear those turning to cars and tents for shelter, dividing us while they look the other way as corporate developers rig the rules to jack up our rents and build apartments only the wealthiest few can afford. They think that if we’re made to fear each other, we’ll ignore it when police officers meant to uphold the law harm our communities.

Our Minneapolis community–from Folwell to Kingfield, Bryn-Mawr to Little Earth knows the compassionate and common sense solutions we need to move our city forward. We deserve a Minneapolis that takes action to keep our neighbors in their homes. We deserve public safety that actually keeps us all safe. We deserve the resources, that we all pitch in for together, to create the neighborhoods and city services that truly serve our needs.
